We return back to the Pirtek twin ovals here at the Dial Park precinct as we would like to welcome the East Devonport Swans for our Round 2 encounter as each club looks to join the winners list in the Senior game. Our AJ & M Construction Two Blues will certainly be looking to do this following our very disappointing loss to the strong and very polished outfit of the Burnie Dockers. The Reserves had a convincing win and will be looking to back that up again today and our Unders went down by only 3 points with a shot after the siren where a goal needed for victory didn’t quite happen!

Our official opening a fortnight ago was a fantasic day with a magnificent turn out of well over 3000 people attending which kept all of our volunteers flat out all day and into the evening with the canteen and bar seeing a constant flow of customers all day!

With plenty of players avaliable for selection our coaches certainly have a task in naming their team with some boys returning from being unavailable over the easter break including Toby Skene, who will be welcomed back into the senior team today with James King, Ben Hardy and Rohan Speglic also knocking on the door for selection following their great performances in the Reserves opening win over the Dockers.

Next week we are back here at Pirtek Oval as we host the Devonport Football Club as our Lady Blues will be playing their first roster game for the year following the Senior game. Post game we have some ripping live must to kick back and dance the night away with, a double bill consisting of ‘Lucky7’ and ‘Roger’! Two absolutely fantastic cover bands!
