Today we host the Latrobe Demons in what will be our last home game for season 2018 and Coach Peter Templeton’s last game coaching on home soil.

Today you will notice we are wearing different guernseys in the Senior game featuring pink, white and green with our Two Blue strip! This is to support and raise awareness for Huntington’s Disease Tasmania. For every hot sav you purchase today we will be donating one dollar to Huntington’s Disease Foundation Tasmania. So what better excuse to tuck into the hot dogs!

Finals footy for our Senior side looks almost gone following our loss to the Giants last weekend in very testing conditions in the mud and rain. Luck didn’t go our way with opportunities in the last term to grab the lead but that didn’t quite happen. Like most of this season, we haven’t given up and have applied 100% effort each week, with a large number of young and inexperienced players in the Senior team this is evident on where we will finish up this year. On the other hand our Reserves are travelling well with another win on the board last weekend. A hunger to win today is evident within the core group as they eye off finals footy. Unfortunately last weekend our Under 18’s had to forfeit their game with low numbers. A couple of Giants boys did pull on the Two Blue guernsey to have a scratch match that we eventually won (to no avail!).

We are hoping to have a great turn up of supporters and members today as this will be their last opportunity to catch the Blues at home this year! So grab a feed from the canteen and grab a beer and enjoy what should be some cracking games of footy here today at Pirtek Dial Park.
