Everyone is invited to our last ever roster game to be held at Pirtek Park. The oval was first used by the Penguin Football club in 1905, so it is 112 years old. Come along and help us celebrate this historic event.

The list of activities to be held on the day includes the following:

1. Games Played
Under 18’s play at 10AM
Reserves play at 12PM
Seniors play at 2PM
Women play at 4:30PM

2. A face painter will be at the ground for our younger supporters

3. The Penguin Old Two Blues have organised a function that will start at 11AM. The cost is $30 which includes entry into the game, a luncheon and an opportunity to listen to our guest speaker Robert ‘Bobby’ Cheek. Bobby is a past player at Penguin and Reserves coach, he is and ex Member of Parliament and owner of the Zap gym complexes. 4. At half time we will be making a presentation to the victorious Senior Penguin Men’s Basketball Premiership team

5. Kicking competition (Men’s basketball team to assist)
➢ An accuracy kick where you will need to kick a ball into a bin from around 30 metres. The first person to do so will win $100 and this will be available to children under 16.
➢ A long-distance kick with the longest kick also winning $100. This is also available to children under 16.

6. Merchandise will be available along with stubbie holders that state “I witnessed the last game played at Pirtek Park”

7. Casserole teas will be available after the women’s game for $5 a bowl.

8. At 7:30PM music will be provided by a DJ from Hobart whose music is supported by video clips and the theme of the evening is ‘PFC Through the Years’. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed. Entry is free.
